ISS Vanguard is Awaken Realm's newest space opera, where players travel the universe in search of information on an alien race. The game consists of activities on board the ISS Vanguard, followed by away team missions down to various planets that are encountered. Narrative take center-stage in Vanguard, as the 100+ pages of log entries are read out to you in your travels. A rather good, and free, application may be downloaded to manage the log entries, reading them to you with solid voice-acting, or you may simply read the entry in the logbook provided. Traces of War focuses on the Soviet offensive into the Ukraine not long after the Battle of Kursk in 1943. The Soviet offensive rolls forward opposed by a more nimble, but smaller, German opponent into early 1944.
